Privacy policy

Who we are

HavarTechPulse (“we”, “us”) provides software, consulting, training and publications. We are based in Nairobi, Kenya. For the purposes of data-protection law, including Kenya’s Data Protection Act, 2019, we are the data controller for the personal information described here.

What we collect

We collect only what we need to answer you and deliver what you buy:

• Details you give us — name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, company and the content of your messages when you use a form, book a call or email us.
• Purchase records — what you bought and when. Card and mobile-money details are handled by our payment providers (Paystack and Payhip) and never reach our servers.
• Usage data — basic, aggregated analytics about which pages are visited, used to improve the site.
• Client data — for software and consulting clients, data you share with us to do the work. This is governed by our agreement with you and processed only on your instructions.

How we use it

• To reply to enquiries and schedule calls and demos.
• To deliver products, courses, training and services you have bought.
• To send the newsletter, only if you subscribed. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business — payment processing (Paystack, Payhip), email delivery, scheduling, hosting and analytics — under agreements that require them to protect it, and where the law requires us to.

Some providers store data outside Kenya. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as contractual protections.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become work are deleted after 24 months. Records of purchases and contracts are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, usually seven years. Newsletter data is deleted when you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete the personal information we hold about you, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent at any time. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner in Kenya or your local regulator.

Cookies

This site uses only cookies that are needed for it to work, plus privacy-friendly analytics. Payhip and our booking tool may set their own cookies when you use their checkout or calendar.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. Significant changes will be announced to newsletter subscribers.
